1. Ceftriaxone sodium 1 gm IVBP in every 24 hours.

Available drug 1 gm vial of the powdered drug.

Dilution - 250mg with 2.4 ml of SWFI. Each ml contains 100mg.

So total solution will be 2.5ml (2.4ML Sw and 0.1 ml powered drug)

The whole vial will be diluted with 9.6 ml and the total volume will be 10 ml (9.6 ml SW and 0.4ml Powered drug)

1 gm (1000mg) in 10 ml, So 1 ml contains 100 mg.

1000mg/10ml = 100mg/ml

A single dose further diluted with 50ml, So total Solution Will be 60ml (10ML drug and 50 ml further dilution)

60 ml in 30 minutes.

60ml 30min = 2mlpermin

Answer - Pump will be set at 2ml per minute or 120ml per Hour.
