Recently researchers compared 286 depressed workers with 193 others who were not depressed. Since only the depressed workers had such problems as fatigue, lack of motivation, and trouble managing their usual workload, researchers concluded that depression was the cause of their problems at work.—American Journal of Health Promotion

1. The conclusion what they gave that depression was the problem at work place as this cannot be generalised.

2. The argument is not that convincing as depression may be one of domain which makes the work out put from the patient less. The problems at workplace is not only due to depression but the other aspects too.

3. Yes definitely it has gap if they would have done the sequential sampling wereby more of the people would have been included to draw the conclusions.

4. The depressed persons cannot provide a good productivity and it is not purely work based

5. The argument does not have any credibility authority or reliability.
