That means the approach of precision medicine is used in cancer treatment to get an optimum prognosis. The tumor biomarkers like DNA, RNA, protein and metabolic profiles have significant importance in response to therapy. Moreover, individual genetic charecteristics also have influence in drug response. That means even two patients are diagnosed with same type of cancer, their treatment options will be different due to different genetic characters of the cancer and the individual.
