Diet and activity :

* Diet is very essential to human beings, to maintaining all daily living activities.

* by taking good and adequate nutritious diet we will get the energy and it will useful to do activities.

* normally per day 2000 -2200 K. Cal energy should be need for human beings to get energy to do activities.

* by adequate nutritional status we can maintain healthy lifestyle.

So, to know our nutritional levels we can use some tools are methods those are nutritional assessment methods.

* by using this methods we can know the nutritional status of persons, and their dietary habits.

* the healthy eating index is measure of diet quality and it is used to how well the set of foods prepared according to the recommendations.

* dietary assessment tools or methods maintaining growth chart and height and weight recards,

* and nutritional screening tools like measurement of body mass index, mid arm circumference, seeing waist circumference, skin fold thick ness,

* Laboratory and bio chemical tests like stool and urine examination, hemoglobin estimation,

* and assessment of dietary intake by weighment of raw foods, weighment of cooked food, by using oral questionare methods.

* and activity measurement tool or methods includes :

- by report based methods like by collecting self report from clients and their dairy reports.

- Monitor based measurements including Pedometers, accelerate monitors( by these we can see the intensity and duration of physical activity) , heart rate monitors.

- criterion measurements like direct observations, Indirect calorymetry, Dubly labeled water, these are used to estimation of energy expenditure, and movement.

* and we can see the daily living activities like bathing, grooming, brushing, dressing, eating etc.

These tools or methods we can use to estimation of diet and activity levels.

Challenges to complete it :

* The some clients may not provide adequate information by report based methods.

* cooperation may need, if not there is difficult to do or using of tools.

* Reliability of tools must be there, if not accurate results may not come.

* Availablility of resources are good.

* And adequate planning must be there.

By maintaining of all these good we can complete the assignment.

New perspective to analyze diet and activity levels :

* we need to know the levels of daitary recommend allowance of each diet components, so according to that if we will take the diet adequately, we will get energy to perform daily living activities. And prevent the dietary related problems.

* so that the good nutritious diet the activity levels also good.

* by daily weight checking and growth monitoring tool we can analyze diet and activity levels.

Yes, we can recommend the same tool to others to take diet according to dietary daily recommend allowances, they can take diet, and growth monitoring chart is useful to assessment.

But according to their age and needs we need to plan dietary actions, and methods also.
