Hypokentic diseases are diseases due to lack of activity and a sedentary lifestyle. Hypokinesis is the risk factor of many diseases like Heart disease, high blood pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, stroke, etc.
The disease-related to hypokinesis is mainly due to increased cholesterol levels and obesity. Increase cholesterol levels in the blood can increase the chance of plaque formation in the arteries that leads to interruption of blood supply to the brain, heart, and other vital organs. This is the main reason for Heart diseases and brain stroke.
In fatty acid levels in the blood can increase insulin resistance, which leads to Type 2 Diabetes.
