During cardiac catheterisation x ray is taken by using a die which is injected into blood vessels inorderto find out the obstruction present in the coronary artery or valves..after the x ray doctor will insert a small tube called stent to remove blockage if found during x ray in coronary artery.before that the site will be shaved and covered with sterile cloth to prevent infection.patient will be monitored through out the procedure with help of cardiac monitor and pulse oxymetry to know the changes in ECG,or vital signs.CPR could be performed if cardiac arrest occur .Defibrillator also keep at the bed side for emergency.intubation can be done if the patient has respiratory arrest during procedure.
