A 30-item instrument was used on the same sample three times: at baseline, then at two weeks, and then at six months from the baseline measure. The correlation between the baseline and two week measures was r = .80 (high), while the correlation between baseline and six months was r = .30 (low). Why might this have happened? How would you judge the reliability of this instrument?

The two week measure which showed r=. 80 shows a high positive reliability were as after 6 months which shows . 30 shows moderate reliability. This occurs because of the change in the demographics such as birth, death, marriage, divorce and so on which changes again the Co effecinet and wereby the reliability of tool. Here the reliability is present and without validity.
