Answer #1

Correct option

regarding community inclusion is

option : a)

Community inclusion is basically including and providing same opportunities to people with disabilities as like others in every aspect of life, to the best of their abilities and desires. With community inclusion, people with disabilities feel associated, acknowledged, worthy and accepted for who they are within their communities, they actively participate in the community, and have the right to choose their activities based on their personal preferences, have companions and don’t feel left out nor be treated as an inconvenience.

Aim of community inclusion is is not to give just life to the people with disabilities but 'quality of life' - a happier healthier life.

option : b)

Is incorrect

As here the people with disabilities are placed in the community itself with other peoples rather than isolating them. For example instead of sending to a school meant only for disabled children, non disabled as well as disabled children are placed in same educational environment. They are wholeheartedly accepted without any discrimination.

Option : c)

Is incorrect.

Because community inclusion is not for non profit organizations only. Any one can take part in it may be a,family member, care giver, guardian, social worker, case manager, health professional, mentor, a trust, community network

Option : d)

Is also incorrect.

Making products, communications, and the physical environment, transportation are modified or designed conductive to people with disabilities.

Community inclusion includes risk assessment before placing a person with disabilities about both the location of and the type of activities involved. Based on the likelihood of and consequences of a given risk event if it occurs and an acceptable level of risk is identified. Possible risks are discussed with the person and appropriate others, strategies are identified to remove or reduce the identified risk with consideration of institutional policies and legislation.

Hence risk management involves taking reasonable steps to prevent injury and harm but cannot and should not seek to eliminate risk completely.
