Answer #1

If I was a contemporary of Galileo I would offer my scientific insights that might threaten establishment views that earth is the center of our solar system. I raise the question about retrograde motion of planets. This retrograde motion is apparent motion of a body in a direction opposite to that of other bodies within its system, as observed from a particular point. This cann't be explained from earth centered solar system. Planets and earth motion around the Sun can explain it. This can be seen in railway track. When we are behind a slow moving train, train can be seen moving forward. But while crossing it, it can be seen moving backward for a moment. This is retrograde motion of other train. Same can be happen in sky for retrograde motion of other planet when our earth cross slow moving planet.

I will be glad to see your comment if you have any query and thumb up if you are satisfied. Thanks...
