• As it is communicable disease, the patient should be isolated.
• Nurse should maintain proper hygiene near by the areas and to the patients.
• Nurse should take precautionary measures as well as regulate the diet of the patient.
• Nurse should provide counselling to the patient.

Therapeutic procedures or treatment: It includes medicines such as antibiotics. Gentamicin and doxycycline should be be given to the patient to treat infection.
