Can someone help me with a response to this discussion answer?

Personality factors can have a large impact on the health of an individual. For example, people who are hostile are more likely to have Coronary Heart Disease, they tend to have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and utilize more cigarettes, drugs, and alcohol than others who are not naturally hostile (Aldwin and Gilmer, 2003). Characteristics of these individuals noted by Aldwin and Gilmer include extreme easily aroused hostility, time urgency, achievement motivation, and explosive speech patterns (2003). Alcohol or other substances to regulate emotion. Avoidance, withdrawal, and substance use are usually associated with poor outcomes. It has been thought that the older adults become the less they drink but it is also important to know the more effects the same amount of alcohol can have on their body. With multiple comorbidities excess in alcohol consumption can be detrimental and one example can be injuries attained from falling. It has been estimated that between 10% and 50% of individuals aged 60 years or older drink in excess of current guidelines for alcohol consumption. Among current drinkers, up to 12% of women and 30%of men age 60 or older sometimes consume three or more drinks on one occasion (Moos et, al., 2009). At baseline, 49% of women and 65% of men exceeded two drinks per day or seven drinks perweekandmorethan26%of womenand49%of men exceeded three drinks per day or 14 drinks per week (Moos et, al., 2009). Alcohol consumption in this age group can exacerbate many pre-existing vulnerabilities to physical and mental health problems. Research has demonstrated that homosexual men are at increased risk for internalizing disorders compared with heterosexual men and that minority stressors are risk factors (Fienstein, 2017). Sexual orientation and anxious expectations of rejection can be reduced through clinical interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy. The elderly have many various stressors and these include trauma, daily hassles which include chronic role strain these can range from minor disagreements to stressors within the family (Aldwin and Gilmer, 2004). Culture factors also can affect stress in the elderly. An adult who gets in a car minor car accident with appropriate funds may find this to be a hassle but this problem can easily be fixed. An adult without appropriate funds may have some difficulty finding another way of getting around.
