Vulnerable groups are those who are at higher risks of developing health related problems. The group of people included under this vulnerable population are minorities, children, under insured people, old age people, poor socioeconomic status people. For this vulnerable population the role of health care providers as advocates are :

* To develop communication between health care providers and socioeconomically poor people to prevent barriers of communication and to develop effective care to people

* Collection the information regarding all the age groups of people who comes under vulnerable population category to treat them by using of interview methods

* Providing of primary health care services to the population who are at in need

* Identify the sufferings of people and plan for appropriate treatment plan for the diseased people

- Collaborating with other health care providers for delivering of better health care services and provision of facilities like diagnostic evaluations, general investigations, medication supply distribution, population surveys, etc
