What customer information was most critical to helping sales staff generate additional revenues? If a customer relationship management system is/was used was it helpful? If not, would there be enough benefit gained to outweigh the initial cost of implementing the CRM software?

To help sales staff generate additional revenue, salespeople close the gap between customer needs and service. Often through marketing, sellers appear when they are already facing a prospect. Such people are aware of the company's current dealings. As this company continues to grow in the marketplace, customer service and needs seem to be significantly ahead. 
It is important that your customers are always the lifeblood of your business / organization.
One approach is to maintain customer relationship management (CRM) and business relationships with potential customers. It uses the customer's past information clarification with the company to build a business relationship with the customer.
To summarize, sales managers are comfortable with the benefits of adopting a customer relationship management (CRM) system. Customers appreciate that their sales information is centrally stored in CRM. And it is presented in a simplified form, so that the sales process and the performance of the employees will in turn help to optimize sales. CRM is one of the first to sell as many unique tools to people as possible.
It is the extra time that is spent storing information in the CRM system that makes business aggression and salespeople feel that this keeps them from doing their important work - selling.
