Answer: In present reports it has been found that diabetes mellitus is affecting more and more children. There are various factors influencing the development of the adult onset diabetes. The one of most common reason is increased intake of fast foods such as burger, , fried chips etc. These contains excessive amount of fats which are not good for children. It increases the risk of obesity and hence lead to chronic diseases. The increases consumption of caffeinated beverages, cold drinks etc. Contains large amount of sugar which suddenly increase the blood glucose levels and hence causes low insulin to manage the blood sugar.
These can be prevented by healthy eating habits, physical activities such as running, cycling which will maintain healthy weight. Intake of juice could be more beneficial for the young children.
