I have to do a speech in my Public Speaking class where I have to convince my audience of something I feel strongly about. So I chose to talk about Vaccinations and why everyone should Vaccinate their kids and even all adults should be vaccinated. I was wondering if someone can help me come up with some strong points to talk about to help my audience convince them about how important vaccines are and why they are necessary to get. Thank you!

Answer #1

Answer: Vaccination is important as it provides immunity. It enhances the working ability of the immune system and provide immunity to fight against the diseases. Vaccinations are important as it prevent children from communicable diseases. Whooping cough, chicken pox, measles etc are very common and can easily transmitted from one person to the other. Near about 10000 deaths occured due to lack of vaccination and spread of measles. The importance of vaccination also includes that prevention is better than cure. It has been found that vaccinated children are very less prone to the communicable diseases as compared to non vaccinated. So, it is important that children should be immunized. The vaccination is cheap and easily available.

During the healing process I contracted a strong cold/mild flu (a sore throat and runny nose with a high fever, aches and shivering). I doubt the two have anything to do with one another apart from happening to occur at the same time. But they did occur at the same time. So I'm wondering: what is my body going to do? If I...
