1, When a stroke occurs it affects her blood supply to the brain when the brain receives less oxygen and her nerve cells affected due to diabetes complications, it affected her entire body with cognitive and memory loss, emotional disturbance, speech ability, and daily living condition.
2, Activity of daily living need basic skills to complete their task. nursing assessment of ADLs influences a person able to meet the goals and confirm patient dependent living and help to motivate for independence and self-care. it is an important aspect to determine whether the patient needs assistance or she can do self-care. Assessment and practical information on patient ability make them engage in ADLs. It enhances the patient capacity to make them engage in her personal care it benefits them in regular basic personal hygiene. when the resident self-neglect to carry out the daily task it affects their personal hygiene for oral care and bathing it make poor hygiene. this patient is affected by her disability and her dependent life makes her unhygienic for basic care.
