  1. What do you see as the major challenges faced by professional nurses today? Give three (3) specific examples of challenges and include your possible solution to each challenge. Reference at least two articles that supports your position.
  2. Leadership courage indicates a specific level of self-awareness. After reading chapter 3 in the Weberg text, discuss in detail three attributes of leaders and how those attributes give courage in leadership. Cite at least two articles that support your position.

QUES 1: Nurses play an integral role in healthcare industry,providing care to patient and filling leadership roles at hospitals ,health system and other organizations.But being a nurse is not without its challenges.It's a demanding profession that require a lot of dedication and commitment.

There are some challenges facing by nurses today:

1. Compensation : When it comes to nurse compensation, regional differences are to be expected based on cost of living. Beyond regional differences in pay , nurses pay gaps also persist between gender.

SOLUTION : There should not be regional differences in compensation because they are all work hard

so they will be treated same and also gender gap in pay should be abolished.

2. Workplace violence : Another major challenge nurses face violent behaviour while on the job,be it from patients and coworkers.

Here either payients or coworkers are behave violently towards nurses.

SOLUTION : There should be a law aganist those patients or coworkers who involve in violent action towards nurses to pay for there actions or punishment.

Also nurses should be self powered by making their own union for taking strict actions towards these violent actions.

3. Long working hours : Nurses are often required to work long shifts.But in a number of cases,nurses must work back- to - back or extended shifts,risking fatique that could result in medical mistakes.

SOLUTION : There should be fixed working hours for nurses by doing this they can more focussed on there work and work efficiently also they can take care of there health.
