Answer #1

LVN or Licensed Vocational Nurse is a designation of a nurse that works under registered nurses (RNs) and doctors. It is similar to the Licenced practical nurse or LPN.

LVN as a career could be a good choice in case you are in thinking to enter into the medical field as it is cheaper than becoming a registered nurse. LVN can be completed in 13 months from LVN schools.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, LVN or LPNs get more employment in Nursing care facilities than hospital settings. and LVN and LPNs are estimated to grow by 12% till 2026.

However, an RN degree is opted by most as new nurses as LVNs are drawn to higher acuity and excitement in the hospital setting.
