Nursing problems include the pale discolouration due to anemia because of diminished oxygen carrying capacity of blood, and the altered nutrition that is less than the body requirements related to inadequate intake of food because of loss of appetite.
This can encounter problems to both mother and baby.
Severe anemia and malnutrition increase the risk of premature birth or baby may have low weight. Studies also shows that there will be infant death immediately before or after the delivery.
Mother may experience post partim depression, dizziness, weakness and fatigue.
