1. The important information the nurse should take about the medication is that what all medicines he has taken for this pain without doctor's prescription as a way to treat himself .

2. The risks ibuprofen would cause him are :-

- nausea and vomiting

- ulceration and bleeding

- raised liver enzymes

- diarrhoea and constipation

- dizziness , headache

- epistaxsis

In the above mentioned risks the main risk is bleeding .

3. Patient education regarding over the counter drugs is that nobody should try to treat themselves by taking medications from the medical stores because these medicines may cause allergic reactions which could be fatal to you . So, never treat themselves and reach the doctor for any complaints before you take any medicine to avoid severe complications made by self decision.

4. To remember the side effects of the medicine ,the patient should read the label pasted on the medication covers . The standardized order of information on OTC drug labels should be in the following order :-

The product's active ingredients, including the amount in each dosage unit.

The purpose of the product.

The uses (indications) for the product.

Specific warnings, including when the product should not be used under any circumstances, and when it is appropriate to consult with a doctor or pharmacist. This section also describes side effects that could occur and substances or activities to avoid.

Dosage instructions--when, how, and how often to take the product.

The product's inactive ingredients, important information to help consumers avoid ingredients that may cause an allergic reaction.
