-The nurse must have the qualities of following all principles and ethics of nursing.personal characteristics such as treating all people equally and helping tendency will help the people in need.Professional characteristics such as following the ethics such as Autonomy,beneficence,non-maleficence and justice.

-The nurse must act as patient advocate,care giver,case manager and counsellor.These are the roles of the nurse.The nurse must listen to the client needs.she must integrate all the works of professionals,She is accountable to provide the emotional,psychological and spiritual aspects in her care.Responsible to provide holistic care approch.

-The care settings either can be a hospital setup or patient home.But it is duty of the caregiver to recreate the environment according to the client preference.

The character of the palliative care nurse:

A nurse also having a personal stress and problems in her personal life but since when she enter into the care setup she changes completely with the above mentioned characters without reflecting her personal stress into work.Being as the palliative care nurse she must be more energetic and enthusiastic thus she makes the positive thoughts to the client.
