Adolescent pregnancy is a common public health problem worldwide..it affects both mother and child..Factors vary between population for teenage pregnancy..Risk factors include poor socio economic background,low educational background,living with a single parent,sexual abuse,poor parent-child closeness,poor parentral supervision,Risky sexual behavior,multiple sex partner,non use of contraceptive devices were the factors associated with adolescent pregnancy..
There are nine states and community based organization and five national organization funded through cooperative agreement for teenage pregnancy prevention..This program provided training and technical assistance to youth-serving organization to process this program with many valuable tools and resources..it was useful to teenage pregnancy prevention initiatives..
