In this therapeutic communication nurse listen to patient what he is saying giving satisfaction to patient that he heard.those patient knows that listening by the nurses they feel good and satisfied that will help in recovering to the patient.

giving recognition:

it is good to give complement to the patient that what ever he does related to the instructions giving by the nurse and doctors.for e.g nurse saying that good job you took your medication on time.

offering self:

it works when nurse give offer to spend some time with patient for example nurse spent time to watch t.v and sit with patient to have chat lead to change patients mood .

reflecting:

many times patients ask to the nurse that what should do or not so if nurse says that what u wanna do so this reply makes patient more confident and push to patients do the things more appropriate and accountable with their actions give good solution

focusssing:

most of the patient talks about particular thing importantly so the nurse give proper focus on his particular statement and note down to focus on it.

confronting:

this can do nurse only after build the trust then nurse confront to the patient that this not good for you so patient believe in you and this will help in patients health progress.

offering hope and humor:

its always works with patient.it is necessary for nurse that give hope to the patient because hospital is a very tensed place where patient very stresses so they need hope and humor.nurse offer this to patient that you are gonna fine soon nothing happen bad thing good.
