Cultural proficiency is the way in the various organization it
helps to interact with people with different cultures. the
culturally component system of care focuses on behavioral
standards. There are different cultural proficiency that can be
practiced in an organization. It is a knowledge-based skill it
teaches the student how to interact effectively with patients from
different cultures. There are five elements of the ability to
become more culturally proficient.
Diversity:
It is acceptance, inclusiveness, and respect. understanding of
personal value with different race, ethnicity, gender,
socio-economic status, age, religion, and beliefs. employee skills
and knowledge important on the diverse environment by avoiding
discrimination can make an effective workforce with different
culture population.
Cultural self-assessment:
To make awareness of different cultures population by learning to
recognize biases. it is an identity and acceptance of difficult
aspects that should not get affected with different culture
population.
Managing the dynamics:
It needs a contextual understanding of the social and institutional
dynamics which results in inequitable power and privilege in
society. need skills to manage conflict in a positive way.
Adaptation of service delivery:
It is a lifelong learning process with new tools with effective
teaching, curriculum development, and workplace norms. it needs
skills for cross-cultural communication practice can remove barrier
by inequitable with current practice.
Institutionalizing cultural knowledge and resources:
Staff development, education information, and skills help interact
effectively with different cultural situations. teaching will be an
effective method to develop institutional policies and practice. it
can be practiced by
