PALIFERMIN = 60 MCG / KG/ DAY

WEIGHT OF THE PATIENT = 35 KG

DOSE NEEDED PER DAY IS = WEIGHT OF THE PATIENT X DOSE /KG

= 35 kg  X 60 mcg / kg

= 2100 mcg

WILL BE NEEDED TO ADMINISTER IN ONE DAY

AS THE AVAILABLE FORM OF DRUG IN MG  

CONVERTING 2100 mcg TO mg = 2.1 MG

  

DESIRED DOSE(ML) = NEEDED DOSE  / AVAILABLE DOSE * VOLUME OF DILUTION

= 2.1mg / 5mg * 1 ml

= 0.42 ml  

OPTION C , O.42 ml drug will be administered to the client
