MY EXPERIENCE DURING DREW BLOOD FOR FIRST TIME

As a nurse I have to attend the clinical trails during study period I had remember that day when i was draw blood for the first time . at that time I was think I am not ready to draw blood but my seniors and staff at the clinic help me to improve the confidence to draw blood from the patient

   during this phlebotomy program I had choose the patient who required to get the blood tests, I had prepare the phlebotomy kit to draw the blood . seriously I had feel nervous to get the vein . I make my self calm and apply the tourniquet to the hand of patient clean the area and insert the needle in to the vein , I had draw the blood and I had remove the applied tourniquet clean the area filled the tubes then I feel confident in that procedure

   every day during the clinical trails or as a part of profession its important to learn the skills in phlebotomy i was practice day to day to improve my skills . I had succeed in this procedure now . i had faced so many issues during my experience but my senior staff had help me a lot to develop skills

MY PROGRESS IN PHLEBOTOMY

   know I can confidently do this procedure but I will learn more till now to improve my skills because some of patient like chemo therapy patients and other chronic patients does not have palpable veins so at that time we face the issue to get the blood .make sure patient has to feel comfortable during procedure

i had achieved my progress in this procedure I had get the amazing and humble experience

PHLEBOTOMY AS A FULL TIME CAREER

phlebotomy as afull time career I will not choose because as a part of nursing procedure i will performe the procedure as well i will get the opportunity to do procedure daily .

so i will like to do this procedure as a nurse , but this phlebotomy is a good career to get good opportunity to work with the health care team in diagnosis of disease

get good salary and job opportunity to develop skills .
