Item: Today I read an article which states that playing games with violent emotions can decrease the emotional quotient of the child in an early stage of life

Emotion: This article was informative and upsetting one. This is because my nephew is hardly 7 years old and he is fond of videogames. I have observed that he has the same taste and choice of videogames as I had during my childhood. All of them have less violence. However recently i have observed him spend so much time on the mobile phone playing a game installed in it. It is found that the game he is playing has violence and is rated 18+. I never stopped him from playing as I felt he was enjoying his time with it.

Impact: On further analysis, I found that it was his friends who introduced him to this game. I have decided to get him out of this game. Being a child, I told him that playing this game would blind your eye in a few days. He got frightened by my scary words and stopped playing the game then on. I want my nephew to be grown up as an adult with high emotional quotient.
