Global clothing supply chain comprises different resources like tonnes of water, chemicals ,crops and oil.

It has a bad impact on environment. In the design stage the clothing always follows current trends thus responsible for ending up in landfill.textile production has a major role in causing environmental pollution as it emits green house gas and contaminates water and air.

The cultivation of cotton consumes huge amount of fresh water.also pesticide used to cultivate it pollutes water and soil leads to the destruction of biodiversity. The transportation of clothes leads to increased pollution as it releases carbon dioxide. Micro fiber from clothes can be deposited in soil when we wash clothes.Besides that textiles also produce methane and emit it to air.

Solution-

textile recover trend for recycling is very slow to day ,it should encouraged

-Effective use of resources

-Find out the biggest source of carbon emissions and eliminate it.

-Provide guidance on renewable sources in the industry.

-Try to opt lower effect shipping option.
