1) People with disability, may it be physical or mental needs additional support and has some specific needs and requirements for better quality life. The individual with disability needs to be supported on different levels through, health and social care, society and even community. Some examples where the people with disabilities can be supported to engage in activities as in life activities are-

Physical assistance provided by care worker and support worker to make such individual involve in the activities of social learning and daily living.

Counselling and social support from peer, family and society helps the individual to have better coping skills and environment to live.

Support through assisstive technologies can be promoted to help the disabled individual perform daily tasks and routine measures of living independently.

Use of behavior modification and social groups is done to induce independence among disabled individual and help them have sense of belonging-ness.
