Why did the local grand jury decline to bring charges against Anna Pou? Do you agree with its decision? To what degree should Pou be held accountable for her actions?

The local grand jury has dissolved the case by describing "it is done on the best interest of the patient " and passed the case as "No True Bill"

During a massive disaster it is a triage to save the victims who has no threat to life are evacuated first and the victims who are ever critical or cannot be saved are no prioritised. When the Katrina striked, it was not only a loss but also a shortage of resources to help everyone and save.A duty of a healthcare professionals is to save lives in any cost but it is also a thing to loose something to save a larger number of life with the available resources and the after care.Hence this decision is acceptable when thought sensibly.

Pou can be held accountable for not getting a consent from the patient or their relative to do this action.Though a written consent is not possible atleast a verbal consent or an information to be passed in general to handle others emotional status when they come to know the status.
