kg-1, maximal HR of 170bpm, resting HR of 90bpm, normal
ECG response to exercise, and no signs of symptoms of heart
disease. His doctor advised him to begin a weight loss program with
an initial loss of 50lbs, and he referred him to you to begin an

Arthur’s goal weight is 200lbs. He issued very anxious
