Answer #1

Vo2 calculation

HRmax = 220- age

= 220 - 52

HRmax = 168 beats per minute (Bpm)

Vo2max= 15 X (HRmax / HR rest)

15 X (168/84)

15 X 2

Vo2max = 30ml/kg/min

Strength

He is non smoker

Weakness:

Family history of type II diabetes,mother has cancer, brothers had heartattack, and he is not on regular exercise

Appropriate fitness goals:

- vo2max normal range should be >45 for his age..he is having average for his age 30

- normal hand grip for 52yrs men should be 33-51..he is having normal hand grip

- 200pushups possible in regular schedule workout of cardio exercise..he is having poor pushup 8

- normal sit-up/curl up in 1minute for his age = >35 ..but he is having poor situp 13

- normal squat test for his age >35..he is having poor squat 14

- sit/reach test normal for his age >14 he is having excellent sit/reach performance
