Stretching exercise are important for a healthy muscle by either stretching or flexing the concerned muscle which can improve the muscle tone, prevent muscle injury, improves circulation, improves posture,prevents the incidence of certain pain,flexibility of the body.

The condition like back pain (post partum) is greatly reduced by the stretching exervise,in elderly population it can prevent the problems associated with posture.

Hence this is a simpler form of aerobic exercise which can contribute to disease prevention and management.
