I’m needing to do a care plan for Maternith and Newborns. i need to come up with 3 nursing diagnosises.

my patient is on an antepartum unit who is 31 weeks pregnant. came in for funneling of cervix. Doctor orders were to keep the patient on bed rest and to encourage PO intake to increase weight gain during the pregnancy.

What are some nursing diagnosis can i write? No risk for... diagnosises.

Assessment:

Patient need weight gain

As a pregnant she have worries about the pregnancy and about her unborn baby

Lacks knowledge about the disease condition

Nursing Diagnosis:

1.Imbalanced nutrition less than body requirement related to increased nutritional need during pregnancy.

2.Anxiety related to the outcome of the pregnancy.

3.Knowledge deficit related to the condition and the treatment modalities
