Q. No. 1. Answer :

One of the Hormonal fluid regulator in the body is " Antidiuretic hormone ".

* Which is released from the posterior pituitary gland, it acts on the kidneys to promote reabsorption of water, and preventing it's loss in the urine. Through this it will maintain the fluid regulation in the body.

* kidney will play major role here and the aldosteron and angiotensin hormones also play major role here.

Q. No. 2. Answer :

Normal PH level is " 7.35 to 7.45 ".

Acid Base imbalance :

* if the PH level is below 7.35 indicates Acidosis.

* and Above 7.45 indicates Alkalosis.

* Respiratory Acidosis ph levels decreases and, pco2 levels will increases.

* Respiratory alkalosis PH levels increases and PCo2 levels decreases.

* In Metabolic acidosis PH and Bicarbonate levels are decreases.

* In Metabolic alkalosis PH and Bicarbonate levels are increases.

* When the PH is normal that plus " 7.4" ( base line or neutral) it indicates compensated .

The nurses role is critical in infusion therapy.

Forexample any antibiotic injection infusion therapy,

* nurse must give the test dose to the client, if any reactions are there she has to inform physician.

* Client weight should be known.

* technological skills must be there to set infusion pump and she must know calculations.

* continuous observation must be there.

* according to the weight and time she must have to calculate and administer the drug.

* recording and reporting must be maintaintained.

So the nurse play vital role in during infusion time.
