Answer #1

Genetic factors determine the genes that inherit from the parents to the children. There are several factors that can inherit from one generation to another generation.

Examples:

  • Eyes: If the mother has a brown eye, the child inherited a brown eye color from the mother.
  • Height: Mostly the child height is determined by the influence of the father's gene factor.
  • Hair Color, Growth or loss: Hair growth or loss is determined by the X chromosome. The mother usually influences the hair color because of the dominant gene.
  • Blood group: Blood group is determined by a single gene that determines the group of A or B based on the nucleotide bases in DNA. O type of blood group comes from different bases.
  • Gender: Only father determines the gender of the child based on X and Y chromosome. If X chromosome-linked with mother X chromosome results in Female child whereas, Y-chromosome linked with the mother's X chromosome for a male child.
