Answer #1

This has been always a controversy. The law states that right not to know about the genetic testing result by a patient. This is done because knowing the results of it can disturb a person emotionally, psychologically, physically, socio-economically and thus affecting their personal life as a whole. Most of the time even privacy details of genetic testing are not revealed to the patients to avoid the consequences and thereby the quality of life is not affected. It can be reported only when there is a high chance of transmitting it to their offspring of future generations and detoriate their life.
