1.Some of the steps and questions which can be asked to record about a current infection are

  • Assess the target groups being infected in a place
  • Check for its intensity ,duration, incidence ,prevalence rate
  • Ask questions regarding the signs and symptoms of the infection
  • Formulate a policy to control infection rate

2.Some of the ways to verify are

  • Assess whether patient is coming for regular DOTS therapy
  • If patient misses an appointment
  • If patinwt taking irregular medication
  • Doing a chest X Ray ,sputum culture for the growth or control of bacteria

Some of the intervention to be done are

  • Health education on the importance of adherence to the treatment
  • Creating awareness of relapse if no regular treatment taken or course completed
  • Provide psychological support to overcome social stigma
