Keeping the patient clean is essential, poor hygiene can cause discomfort, skin complaints and infections, can lower self-esteem to the client. Good personal hygiene care is essential to maintain a person's moral and to prevent further health problems. Good hygiene can pramotes comfort and health, prevent body and breath odour and improve skin circulation.

BED BATH ;

limited mobilized patients having difficulties in movement, bed bath helps to improve blood circulation and keep them clean, by removing dead skin, sweat, excess oils.

During bath times take note of the patients body for unusual conditions.

cleaning the eyes.

cleaning the upper body.

cleaning the lower body.

HAIR SHAMPOOING IN BED ; Shampooing the hair can improve circulation inthe scalp and provide as a treat especially for female recipient.

ORAL HYGIENE :oral care is the important part of personal hygiene. Some drugs taken orally may cause a bad taste in the mouth, or form a coating around the tongue. A dry mouth can also be common for patients that have difficulty breathing through their nose. Oxygen treatment decreased fluid intake and some medications can also cause dry mouth. proper mouth care is needed to prevent bad breath and infections.

STAYING CLEAN;

Washing patient hands after going to the toilet.

Washing their genitals and bottom area every day.

Washing their face every day.

brushing their teeth twice a day.

providing nail care.

Making the room in comfortable temperature.

Getting help with hygiene.
