In detail write why Hodgkin lymphoma clinically is mentioned as benign lymphoma but non-Hodgkin’s is considers as the malignant type?

  Hodgkin and non - hodgkin lymphoma mainly depends on the type of the cells.Hodgkin lymphoma is due to some of environmental toxins like environmental chemical exposure, dietary habits, infection and inflammation or due to the genetics.Now a days some of the drugs may also cause Benign lymphoma. The clinical features of this Hodgkin lymphoma are lack of energy, swelling of lymph nodes in the spleen and liver, night sweats,rashes,exaggerated sensitivity after taking alcohol and severe itching. The metastasis is not happened in the Hodgkin lymphoma.Infection with the epstein barr virus leads to some changes in the DNA . These benign cells leads to abnormal production of cells called Reed sternberg cells.

The non - hodgkin lymphoma are the most common lymphoma than the hodgkin lymphoma. The person with non-hodgkin lymphoma had a variation in the T cells or B cell. The person with the weakened immune system, some of the autoimmune diseases and age also cause non- hodgkin lymphoma. The clinical behaviour of non- hodgkin lymphoma like decreased in the RBC count, pain in the abdomen, unexplained weight loss and the enlargement of the lymph nodes. The treatment is also based on the type of the non-hodgkin lymphoma. The types will be detected on the diagnostic procedures like biopsy,blood test and the imaging procedures.
