1)600 ml has to be administered over 5 hours.

Per ml = 20 gtt

So 600 ml = 600*20 = 12000 gtt

So 12000 gtt in 5 hours.

=12000 gtt in 300 minutes

Per minute = 12000/300= 40 gtt/min

So answer is 40 gtt/min.

Weight of the child = 33 lbs = 33*0.454= 14.98 kg

Total dose = 50 mg * 14.98 = 749.1 mg

It has to be given in 3 doses.

So per dose = 749.1/3 = 250 mg

So per dose 1 tablet should be given.

Flow rate = 1000 ml/5 hours

= 200 ml/hour

His dosage after the decrease= 340 - 30/100*340 = 238 mg

25 mg in 5 ml.

So 50 mg= 5/25 * 50 = 10 ml

Qid means 4 times a day.

So per dose = 200/4 =50 mg

0.5 gram =500 mg

So 1 tablet should be administered.
