  • Health Care Advance Directive – The general term for any document in which one provide instructions about health care wishes or appoint someone to make medical treatment decisions when one is no longer able to make them for oneself. Living wills and durable powers of attorney for health care are both types of health care advance directives it may be oral or written. .
  • Living Will – It is a legal document that state one’s wishes about care and treatment one want or don’t want if no longer able to speak for oneself. Normally, living wills address one’s preferences about end-of-life medical treatments, but they can also communicate about wishes, values, or goals about any other aspect of care and treatment.
no there is no reason that living wills shouldnot be folowed for those who dont speak. This is a legal dicument that only works when you are not able to take decision for yourself. It can be changed anytime but need to be revoked fully or formally change. No one else can change that for anyone without one’s permission.
