NONMALFICENCE is the principle that refers to non harming . it is base of all medical ethics. The term is closely associated with latin that says primum non nocere that means first no harm. Every healthcare provider has to strictly stick to The Hippocratic Oath . This oath keep the health care providers to stay apart from doing harm and injustice. It is also said that a health care provider is obligated to do minimum harm and not to increase the risk of harm . Hence it should be considered as first obligation of every health care provider .

NONMALFICENCE is the principle , beneficence is the action a healthcare provider take for benefit of the individual . In beneficence a health care provider is obligated to do good and to take positive step towards preventing harm .
