1. Gloria personal goals is to windsurfing again, to resume her daily routine of fitness.

her personal strength of being to face the situation bravely and sustenance will help meeting her goal.

2. internal challenge of gloria may be her inability to accept the fate, to have patience to be the one she was before

external challenge for her may be to resume all the physical activities she used to do before.

3. i have seen a movie surfer which resembles the situation in case study.so she may not be able to be exactly same but she may have to modify the environment around her to be supportive, that will aid her in her daily routine

she can have her surfing tool modified to meet her needs because of disability.

she can see towards participating in paraolympics category of surfing.

4. way of working with gloria strengths to build her skills

  • to make her meet others with similiar problem so that she remains motivated and realise her strengths
  • assessing her skills and make a strength based skill development program.

5. evaluation of strategies will be based on

  • her rating about her strengths and skills gained
  • her state of mind
  • her resumption towards carrying out activities of daily living

6. tools .equipment for Gloria are:

  • therapy putty for hand therapy and is quite affordable and portable
  • TENS therapy unit to improve movement after stroke
  • FitMi is a full body home therapy to help get full body moving
