Share with the class your favorite artwork discovery from this semester.  Next, share an artwork discovery from this semester that you greatly dislike.  (Your selections can be any form of art, but must come from the textbook or the videos.)  As you discuss and explain in detail why you have made your selections, answer the following questions: Do you believe that the appreciation of art is the same as the enjoyment of art?  Is it possible to both appreciate a work of art and also greatly dislike it?  Why?  For an artwork to be considered good, must it always be something beautiful?  Be detailed and specific with your ideas.

The artwork which i liked the most is the video made on the theme - 'All are one ' no discrimination based on caste ,creed , colour etc . The artwork which i disliked the most is the one which was just blank ,it was not sending any message to others . Art is something which passes the message to others through itself . I liked the vedio most because it was giving us the message that all are one there must be no discrimination on the basis of caste ,colour and creed . We should live with love and peace . We won't be taking anything with us when we leave ,so we should not make fights for materialistic things .

Yes, i believe that the appreciation of art is the same as the enjoyment of art. When we get to know something which we were not aware of and also that makes us happy then it's meaningful . No it is not possible to both appreciate a work of art and also greatly dislike it beacuse appreciation and disliking never happen simultaneously. No for an artwork to be considered good, it is not necessary that it should be always beautiful , but it should be meaningful .
