What arguments could you give for or against the idea that body language is a science with principles that can be interpreted accurately by specialists?
In my opinion, body language is a science with principles that can be interpreted accurately by specialists. Science means something that involves systematic study about a particular subject through observation and experiments. If we consider body language or nonverbal communication, it also involves systematic study of the body movements and other nonverbal cues like eye contact, space, time, appearance etc. Careful observation is required to understand someone’s body language and the systematic knowledge on this field developed through observation helps the specialists in nonverbal cues to understand the communication better. We can utilize the knowledge to improve our own nonverbal communication and be a successful communicator. Science helps to make the human life easier and study of body language also helps to make our life easier through effective communication understanding the feelings and attitudes of the speaker.
