For any intervention to be effective, it is critical that the strategy of the intervention is in alignment with the vision, mission and business strategy of the company. If the alignment is missing, then there are high chances that the intervention may result in failure. For effective quality management, it is essential that the company is involving all the primary stakeholders in the strategy formulation process. The primary stakeholders would give strategic suggestions by pondering upon the problems which they may have faced. The involvement of primary stakeholders would help in making the quality management intervention quite comprehensive. If the stakeholders are not involved in the strategy development process, then the strategy will not be comprehensive and hence there will be considerable difference in the impact and degree of influence of the same.
