Ans1)A exotic animal species in u.s. is common name zebra mussels and scientific name is Dreissena polymorpha.

2)-The zebra mussel (Dreissena polymorpha) is a small freshwater mussel. This species was originally native to the lakes of southern Russia and Ukraine.

3)- Economically importance this is edible. However, because they are so efficient at filtering water, they tend to accumulate pollutants and toxins. For this reason, most experts recommend against consuming zebra mussels.
