Answer #1

Manipulative and body-based therapy is a type of therapy in which the therapist moves or manipulates patient's body parts. It mainly focus on treating stress, pain and depression. Some examples of manipulative therapies are chiropractic treatments, physical therapy and massage therapy.

In chiropractic therapy the therapist gives importance to body structure and its function. Chiropractic therapy is mainly done to correct the spine. In my opinion, chiropractic treatment is good for correcting alignment problems in spine and other parts of the body because in this treatment the therapist adjusts the various discs of the spine by moving or pressing it in different angels so that proper alignment will be maintained. Chiropractic treatment will be helpful in alleviating pain, improving function of organs and supporting the body's inbuilt power to heal itself.

Massage therapy also uses different techniques to alleviate pain and it's a good therapy to move the patient's body parts and make it functional. The therapists press, rub and move the muscles of the body with the help of their hands, fingers, elbows or feet. Massage therapy improves blood circulation and makes our body fully active.

Yes, it's true that people experience better physical, mental and emotional well-being from these therapies because therapies relaxes our muscles and improves blood circulation. In a therapy treatment, when therapists rub, press or make various ayurvedic oil massages, we feel relax both physically and mentally. Our muscles expand and give us feeling of full of energy and vitality. It also helps us to get rid of our mental tensions and making our life easygoing. Manipulation of various body parts stretches our body and keep us fit.

So, all total, we can say that therapies help us to keep ourself fit both physically and mentally.
