Lead time(L) = 7 days

Demand during lead time = d × L = 7 × 7 = 49 computers

Safety stock = 1 day

Safety stock level = d × 1 = 7 × 1 = 7 computers

Kanban Container size = 8 computers

Numbers of Kanban needed = (demand during lead time + safety stock level)/container size

= (49+7)/8

= 56/8

= 7

So the answer is 7
